WHO ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW CHALLENGE

Girlguiding Norfolk are holding Open evenings to show what guiding is all about and find more adult Leaders

Rainbows, Brownies and Guides in Norfolk are on the hunt for more adults and girls to come forward and help to run their meetings.

To highlight the work of Girlguiding Norfolk we will be holding a series of open evenings as part of National Volunteers Week on 1-7^th June.  If you have a girl aged five upwards and would like to find out more about guiding in your area or are interested in becoming a volunteer, please get in touch on the number below.

Dawn Davies said  ‘I became a Leader 15 years ago when the local Guide Unit needed more adults to keep it open. But over the years I have had so much fun I am still involved, Since joining guiding I have made new friends and have had so many opportunities to do things that I wouldn’t normally have had the chance to do’

Guiding experiences and Leader qualifications also look good on your CV.

As well as needing adult Leaders to work directly with the girls and young women, Girlguiding Norfolk  also needs people to volunteer in a number of other support roles, including public relations, accountancy, sharing a skill  etc.
