Discover West Norfolk
(formerly known as "HAPPI" -
Hunstanton Area Publicity and
Promotion Information Group)
held a trade exhibition
in the main restaurant
at Sandringham
on Tuesday, 18 March.

Local accommodation providers
from West Norfolk, North Norfolk,
Breckland and the Fens
were invited along with
front line staff from the
Tourist Information Centre,
local attractions, hoteliers groups
and the Caravan Clubs.

It is hoped that the event
will become an annual feature
in the local industry's diaries
and assist key tourism staff
in keeping up to date
with what is happening
at the attractions and facilities
available in West Norfolk
each summer.

The 2008
Discover West Norfolk
 Trade Exhibition
was felt to be
a great success
for tourism businesses.

Hundreds of
trade visitors
attended and were able
to benefit from
meeting the people
behind the names
they often come into contact
with but never normally
get the chance to meet.
Leaflets, marketing material,
free vouchers and
discounted tickets
were available in abundance
as were opportunities
to share information
and obtain
constructive feedback
to move the Norfolk tourism industry forward.
